Welcome to Bear Creek
Fjords in the beautiful Bitterroot Valley of Western Montana!
Dan and Carol Tripp of Victor, Montana bought their first Fjord
in 1994 and promptly fell in love with her sweet disposition and
her willingness to please. They quickly decided that Fjord
horses were the only breed for them, and later purchased her
sister, starting their broodmare band. The "other breed" of
horses that they had were eventually sold so they could devote
all their energies to learning about breeding high quality
Fjords.
"Our goal is to breed
and raise outstanding quality Fjords that are hardy, willing,
agile, sure-footed and are the best quality to the breed
standards." Bear Creek Fjords' stallion, Majson, exemplifies the
best of the Norwegian Fjord breed and their broodmares are
proving themselves to be outstanding producers. |
